Sponsors and Running Projects

WarmWorld Easier

Project Image

Within WarmWorld Easier we aim to simplify the access to ESM data, in particular results from IFS and ICON. Therefore, JSC, DKRZ and ECMWF are working on a federated data catalog and services for the data access.

Jülich MeteoCloud

Project Image

The Jülich Meteocloud is a collaborative data repository providing access to meteorological reanalyses, numerical model data, and satellite observations. It is operated by the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) in cooperation with partner institutes. This website provides user information and an overview on the data sets available within the Meteocloud data project. Jülich MeteoCloud provides access to data on the Juelich Storage System (JUST) to the HPC systems JUSUF, JURECA and JUWELS. A second partition on ExaStore offers data for tasks on JUPITER. JUDAC is able to access both storage systems.

Webpage

Webpage Image

Landing page of the Jülich MeteoCloud. Offers an overview on available datasets and storage utilization.

Earth System Data Catalog - STAC Browser

Webpage Image

STAC catalog operated as part of MeteoCloud. The idea is to include all data from the MeteoCloud. The current focus are machine-learning training-ready datasets stored on JUPITER. In addition datasets for WarmWorld-Easier are included.

Tropospheric Ozone Assessment Report (TOAR)

Project Image

"The Tropospheric Ozone Assessment Report (TOAR) aims to provide the research community with an up-to-date scientific assessment of tropospheric ozone’s global distribution and trends from the surface to the tropopause. This includes the production of tropospheric ozone assessment reports based on the peer-reviewed literature and new analyses as well as the provision of easily accessible, documented data on ozone mixing ratios, exposure and dose metrics at thousands of measurement sites around the world, and links to quality assessed data sources of free tropospheric ozone at the TOAR data portal. All TOAR data are freely accessible for research on the global-scale impact of ozone on climate, human health and crop/ecosystem productivity."
