Browsing this website and the STAC catalogs does not require the processing of any personal data.
2.2 Access to ESM Data Stored at JSC
The access to our data services requires the processing and storage of personal data. We try to limit the data as much as possible.
The regulations of JSC require logging of the resources used by individual users. We store names, email addresses, and the associated jobs IDs on the HPC system.
We will further use the Helmholtz ID for the process of authentication and authorization. We will use the store the eduperson_unique_id of all users as required by Helmholtz ID for incident reporting.
We might create anonymous statistics for reporting the number of users or the number of served requests.
